Solo Travel to Scotland

Morgan's first experience travelling solo was back in 2017 to New York City. A city she dreamt about her entire life. Since then, she has solo travelled to Miami, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, and Greece. She started her trip to Scotland in London, rented a car, and drove through the United Kingdom to Edinburgh. It was a pretty intimating experience to drive a car on the other side of the road for the first time in London, one of the worlds worst cities for traffic. On her United Kingdom road trip to Scotland, she visited Stonehenge, Bath, the Cotswolds, Statford-upon-Avon, Harrogate, Knaresborough, and York. Once she arrived in Edinburgh, she met up with her previous professor who was there to obtain her kiltmaking certificate. Interesting fact: kiltmaking is on the endangered craft list. Together, they went to a traditional dance in Edinburgh called a 'ceilidh'. She had so much fun at this dance that she when another toward the end of her trip. Morgan also did the "chocolatarium" experience in Edinburgh where she learned how to make chocolate. Edinburgh is a beautiful city, rich with history. She plans to go back as much as possible. While in Scotland, she also visited Perth, Dunkeld, Culloden Battlefield, Inverness, the Isle of Skye, Fort William where she saw the Glenfinnan Viaduct, and Glasgow. It was a magical trip filled with castle tours, friendly strangers, dancing, and hiking with tons of sheep. As Morgan reflects on the trip, she reminds herself to never lose her zest for life and experience.
